D. For all final city choices complete the following Checklist for the Primate Supercity World Capital.
E. Once all information has been collected, as individuals you must sort through your collection, selecting the important data and discarding the rest. You will then need to begin the writing process. You need to convey the information you have collected in a persuasive fashion. After all, you do want to rally some interest in your classmates rather than discourage their travels and interest. Persuasive language includes lots of detailed descriptions, action verbs, and imaginative phrases.
7. Students will present their trips to the class. Each group will be given a continent to be an expert on and in those continents they will present extra information. This information will include countries in that continent, major natural features (mountains, rivers, etc.), area, population, and areas in the news (wars, politics, sports, etc.).
